''Mela'' is a Bollywood action-adventure movie directed by Dharmesh Darshan and released in 2000. The movie stars Aamir Khan, Twinkle Khanna, and Faisal Khan in the lead roles.
The movie revolves around Kishan Pyare (played by Aamir Khan), a young man from a remote village who ventures into the city to earn money for his sister's marriage. However, he gets involved in a dangerous game of deceit and betrayal when he meets a charming and beautiful con artist, Roopa (played by Twinkle Khanna). Roopa and her partner-in-crime, Shankar (played by Faisal Khan), trick Kishan into participating in a deadly game where he must fight to death with other fighters for the entertainment of a wealthy and ruthless businessman, Tony (played by Tinu Verma).
The movie takes the audience on a thrilling ride as Kishan tries to navigate his way through this dangerous game and get himself and Roopa out of harm's way. Along the way, they are helped by a kind-hearted police officer, Inspector Raja (played by Kulbhushan Kharbanda).
